Not to be outdone up by Jessica Simpson, Britney Spears has come forward to provide her own relief effort for Haiti. Britney has donated her silver Versace gown that she wore for her comeback appearance at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards.

I’m not exactly sure what they’re going to do with it. Presumably auction it off. What does a Cheeto stained, stretched out Versace dress go for these days on eBay? Can the response elicited from putting that up really help? Maybe. People do say laughter is the best medicine. There’s definitely going to be a lot of that going around.
