The Hills hunk Brody Jenner and his model girlfriend Jayde Nicole have split. The reality TV show star and his lover have decided to go their separate ways after 15 months together, according to UsMagazine.com.

The report comes just days after Nicole took to her Twitter.com page to hint that she had ended her romance with the Hollywood socialite.

On her blog, she wrote, “Sometimes when you truly love someone you have to let them go… I never really understood that quote until now.”

Earlier this year, the pair was embroiled in a lawsuit with Girls Gone Wild mogul Joe Francis after Nicole sued the filmmaker for allegedly attacking her in a nightclub. He later escaped the charges and the lawsuit was dismissed.

Jenner has previously dated former The Hills co-stars Lauren Conrad, Kristin Cavalleri and socialite Nicole Richie.
