Newlywed Christina Milian has confirmed she is expecting her first child with husband The-Dream.

The “Dip It Low” singer stunned fans by secretly marrying the producer/singer in Las Vegas in September – and now she has announced she and her husband are preparing to welcome a baby next year.

She tells People.com, “My husband and I are expecting. We’re about four and a half months along, about 19 weeks. We’re really excited.”

And Milian, who reportedly exchanged vows with The-Dream in Rome, Italy days after their Sin City nuptials, insists the wedding wasn’t quite as spontaneous as it seemed. She adds, “Honestly, it was kind of planned. We were engaged for many months.”
