Hollywood star Kevin Spacey has been named among the top 10 most influential people in British theatre. The “American Beauty” star took over as artistic director of London’s Old Vic theatre in 2003 and has since established himself as a powerful force in the U.K. arts industry, landing him in 10th place on trade paper The Stage’s top 100.

Leading the pack are husband and wife team Howard Panter and Rosemary Squire, who own the Ambassador Theatre Group, the largest organization in the West End, beating producer Cameron Mackintosh into second place and music impresario Andrew Lloyd Webber into third.
