Miley CyrusA representative for Miley Cyrus has shot down reports the Hannah Montana star is engaged to boyfriend Liam Hemsworth.

The singer/actress met Hemsworth on the set of new movie The Last Song last year and they grew close as they filmed together in Georgia.

They spent New Year’s Eve together in Australia – and Cyrus fueled rumors the pair was preparing to seal its union when she was snapped with a diamond on her ring finger.

But Cyrus’ rep has dismissed reports the 17 year old is to wed Hemsworth, telling GossipCop.com the rumors are “not true.”
