Cops were called to the home of veteran singer Paul Anka this week after the star’s wife requested help to deal with a domestic dispute.

The singer/songwriter’s wife Anna Yeager called 911 twice on Thursday morning after a disagreement over a fired maid escalated to a full-blown screaming match, reports TMZ.com.

Yeager reportedly told police she was scared of her husband, alleging he had pulled a gun out at her the night before.

The website reports that after checking surveillance footage at the couple’s California house, officers were happy to leave without taking further action.

It isn’t the first time the pair has been embroiled in a domestic dispute – Yeager was arrested for felony domestic battery in November last year after she threw a piece of ice at Anka’s head, which left him needing medical attention.

The couple, who have been together for four years, share a son, Ethan.
