Renee Zellweger won over her boyfriend Bradley Cooper’s mother this Christmas – they were spotted doing their holiday shopping together.

The Hollywood couple began dating in the summer and now the Bridget Jones star has proved how serious she is about Cooper by spending their first festive season together with his parents, Gloria and Charlie, in Los Angeles.

Zellweger was seen strolling with the Coopers in Venice, California last week before picking up last-minute gifts with Gloria at the Bay Cities Italian Deli in Santa Monica on Christmas Eve.

An onlooker tells People.com the actress made an extra effort to impress Bradley’s Italian-American mother, asking her to help pick out her favourite delicacies as they browsed the deli.

The source says, “Renee seems to get along really well with Bradley’s parents.

“Bradley’s mom is Italian-American and it was obvious that Renee was making an effort to impress Bradley’s mom with Christmas dishes. Renee was in a great mood and seemed very happy.”
