Robbie Williams is to wed his longterm girlfriend Ayda Field after proposing to her live on air on a radio station in Australia.

The former Take That star was on Sydney’s The Kyle And Jackie O Show on Friday morning chatting about his most romantic gestures, when he surprised Field and the thousands of listeners by declaring his love for her and popped the question.

Williams said, “Is there anyone you want to get married to? Ayda Field I love you so much… Will you marry me?”

A delighted Field replied, “Yes, I’ll marry you. Where’s the ring?”

The Angels hitmaker slipped a temporary ring on her finger, that was given to him by presenter Jackie O, saying, “I love you so much. Would you be my betrothed ’til the end of time?”

The pair met after the star’s pals set them up on a blind date nearly three years ago.
