TODAY’s Matt Lauer talked to actor Robert Pattinson this morning about his new movie, “The Twilight Saga: New Moon,” and the nature of his relationship with co-star Kristen Stewart. Check out the video!

In a recent interview Robert claimed he’s not a romantic in real life. “I haven’t done that many romantic things in my life,” he said in a press conference, to the silent sounds of hearts breaking. Even though he is a musician, Pattinson has never used it to serenade a sweetheart. “Oh, no! I don’t think that would ever be romantic. You need to have so much balls to do that. Jesus Christ! I actually can’t think of a single romantic thing I’ve ever done. That’s terrible.”

In the films, Robert’s vampire character Edward protects his beloved Bella. Even though she wants to turn immortal for him, he’d prefer her to have a long, normal human life.
