Ving Rhames Sues Over Payment Failure

Ving Rhames is suing the producers of his latest movie, alleging they failed to pay him for his work on the project. Red Canvas writer/director Kenneth Chamitoff promised Rhames $200,000 for six days of work on the action film, according to a lawsuit filed by the actor in Los Angeles Superior Court on Friday. The Pulp Fiction star claims he only received $175,000 of the sum after a “stop payment” was put on his final $25,000 paycheck

Ojani Noa, who was married to the actress/singer between 1997 and 1998, is preparing a documentary, entitled How I Married Jennifer Lopez: The J.Lo and Ojani Noa Story . Due to a legally-binding settlement in which Noa agreed not to release any information about the former couple’s time as husband and wife, Lopez’s legal team issued a cease-and-desist missive demanding that he scrap all his plans for the film.
