In 1997, representatives of president Charles Taylor, a Liberian strongman currently on trial for war crimes and crimes against humanity, knocked on Naomi Campbell’s door and gave her a huge uncut blood diamond. Page Six explains,

The excitable supermodel and the genocidal warlord were overnight guests of Nelson Mandela, correspondent Brian Ross reports, as was Mia Farrow, who has campaigned to bring attention to Taylor’s diamond-fueled campaign of terror over the Liberian border in Sierra Leone.

Farrow tells Ross she learned of the diamond at breakfast: “Naomi Campbell came down . . . she said during the night some men had knocked on her door and she, half-asleep, had opened the door and it was representatives of President Charles Taylor and that they had given her a huge diamond. And we were like, ‘Oh, my gosh.’ ”

Ross narrates: “Prosecutors say Taylor was in South Africa . . . to buy weapons for the Sierra Leone rebels with blood diamonds and that Mia Farrow’s information about Campbell helps tie him to the purchase.”

Farrow says, “You don’t forget when a girlfriend tells you she was given a huge diamond in the middle of the night . . . There’s no doubt in my mind. All I thought was, ‘Gosh, what an amazing life Naomi Campbell has. Probably lots of men are always giving her diamonds.’ “

Now Naomi is being asked to testify. Oh, but do you think Naomi is willing to give up that big uncut diamond? Hell no. At a recent Fashion Week appearance to raise money for Haiti, Naomi was asked about it and she said, “I didn’t receive a diamond and I’m not going to speak about that.” Then she slammed the camera to the floor.

Asking Naomi to give up a huge uncut diamond is like asking a starving bear to give up a New York steak. There’s no way Campbell is risking that being taken away even if it was literally stained with the blood of a hundred innocent lives. Plus, I’m sure the way it sparkles under the light washes away the guilt real quick.

Candice Swanepoel is in the May edition of GQ and she looks great. I almost regret turning down when she asked me to go on a date. I should tell her I changed my mind. Hopefully next time I fall asleep I’ll have the same dream.

In the May issue of Playboy, Matthew Fox talks about a variety of things including losing his virginity and getting caught for growing weed.

On losing his virginity: “I was 12. She was about two years older than me. It wasn’t her first time. I can actually see the event in my mind’s eye, like photographs. It was in Dubois, Wyoming, where the population sign probably says, to this day, about 1,000. It happened literally on the ground by a river while a rodeo was going on in town…it was absolutely terrible and awkward—just two f*cking kids lying down and pulling our pants down.”

On experimenting with weed in his youth: “I was a big hell-raiser, always doing crazy sh*t but always getting away with it. My mom and dad never knew about much of what I did. But one time I got into serious sh*t with my old man was when I was trying to grow weed and he found it…I mean, sh*t, yeah, we smoked pot and were goofing around with that kind of thing from a very early age.”

I remember the first time I lost my virginity. I was also 12 and it was to a blonde chick with big breasts. I think her name was Heidi Klum. We did everything and I woke up in the morning satisfied. Wait, having a wet dream means you’re not a virgin anymore, right?

Most Controversial Mom – Nadya Suleman has been named the worlds most controversial mother. She has been shrouded in a number of different public spats in recent weeks, including the fact that her home is rumored to be in the process of being repossessed after the mortgage was not payed for several months. She first made headlines last year when she gave birth to eight children at once after being on a number of fertility drugs. It was not immediately clear if Suleman has commented on the fact that she was named the most controversial mom of the year.

She was also heavily criticized after it was reported that Suleman has received several different plastic surgeries in an attempt to look more like Angelina Jolie. This concerned some, who were worried about the fact that she was living in a home with nearly 14 kids. It had appeared, until recently, that Suleman’s 15 minutes of fame had come full circle to their close. However, this recent “award” (if that’s what you want to call it) seems to have landed her back in the spotlight. She was also criticized recently when she was seen driving with a child of hers on her lap, without a seat belt around the child. Some had called for her to receive a citation for the picture, but it was determined that if she was not stopped for the infraction then she would not be cited for it at a later date.

Suleman continues to grant interviews with various publications, speaking her mind on a number of issues. Some have said that her 14 children are victims of her own need to be well known and famous. A number of shocking stories about her attempts to become famous have leaked in recent months, and have been able to paint a picture that is more clear of the young mother.

Paula Abdul was recently in talks with ABC to be the host of the Star Search reboot but has nixed the idea. A source says that Paula is only off the project “at this time” meaning she could easily change her mind.

Besides hosting VH1’s Divas last year, Abdul hasn’t had any other gigs. A good thing because who really gets excited about listening to some old batty woman mumble nonsensical wishy-washy opinions into a camera. Listening to Paula talk is like playing a record backwards. There are those unusual moments of clarity where things seem to make sense, but everything quickly devolves into gibberish a few seconds later.

Danica McKellar Pregnant:Mike Verta And The Wonder Years Actress Expecting First Child – The former “Wonder Years” star, Danica McKellar, who played Winnie Cooper on the television series (the love interest of Kevin Arnold on the show) is pregnant with her first child. Danica McKellar is 34 years old, and reportedly has been trying to become pregnant for several years. She and her husband of several years, Mike Verta, told People Magazine that they will be expecting their first child soon. McKellar told People that she was “nearing the end of [her] first trimester” and is “so excited.” McKellar also stated that she has wanted to tell the public for quite some time about the soon to be newest addition to their family.

After the “Wonder Years” ended, McKellar stayed relevant by writing several books, and going on to study Mathematics at UCLA. After receiving her degree, McKellar wrote a book entitled “Math Doesn’t Suck: How to Survive Middle School Math Without Losing Your Mind Or Breaking A Nail”, as well as a second which was named “Kiss My Math.” Both books did relatively well, and McKellar will be releasing a third book soon that is rumored to be an algebra book.

McKellar has also continued to act on various TV shows, and voice various cartoons (most recently, a character on Scoobie Doo) during her career as an entertainer. It is expected that McKellar will take some time off in order to focus on her pregnancy and impending birth of her child. It is not clear at this point whether or not that child will be a boy or a girl, but McKellar said in the interview that she will be perfectly happy with either and is not really hoping one way or another. McKellar rose to popularity after starring as Winnie Cooper in “The Wonder Years.”

Lindsay Lohan found out Jesus Luz was hosting at a club last week and wanted to meet up but Madonna yanked the choke collar around Jesus’ neck and nixed the idea.

“Lindsay got her people to phone the club to try and hang out with him. She knew he was hosting a night there with Alicia Keys and her boyfriend Swiss Beatz.

“But when Madge’s people got wind of it they put a block on it. Jesus wasn’t one to argue, he didn’t want to upset Madonna and was just there to work. LiLo had to make do with a night in her hotel.”

You can imagine how Madonna reacted when she heard Lindsay wanted to “hang out” with her boyfriend. As she sat in her fortress stroking her white cat, she thought about the request for a minute and shrieked, “Mmmmmm… DENIED!” before letting out a loud cackle and disappearing with a puff of smoke. In my mind, Madonna is a cross between a James Bond villain and a witch.

Country singer Carrie Underwood has no plans to settle down in one place when she marries Canadian hockey star Mike Fisher, insisting they will continue to live as “little nomads”.

The Oklahoma native owns a home in Nashville, Tennessee while Fisher lives in Peterborough in Ontario, Canada, where he plays for the Ottawa Senators.

The stars spend a lot of time apart when Underwood is on the road, but the blonde beauty insists she has no plans to change her lifestyle once she’s a married woman.

She tells People magazine, “We’ll be little nomads for a while, until one of us retires. Not being in the same room won’t lessen our relationship. We completely have faith in each other.”

Underwood admits kids are on her mind, but only when she decides to set up a permanent home with Fisher.

She adds, “Mike is amazing with children. He’s so going to be a better parent! I’m not bad with them, but I didn’t grow up around children, and he had brothers and sisters his age.”

The couple became engaged in December and the stars are planning a summer wedding.
