Johnny Depp arrived at Narita international airport in Narita, east of Tokyo, Japan, yesterday to promote his latest film “Public Enemies,” and tons of Japanese fans lined up to get a glimpse of the actor. See more photos after the jump.

The star has been selected to receive the prestigious Career Achievement Award at the 2009 Bahamas International Film Festival (BIFF) in Nassau. The festival’s patron Sean Connery will hand over the prize, which will be an extra special accolade for Depp, who owns his own paradise retreat in the Bahamas.

This year’s “Sexiest Man Alive” is Johnny Depp, according to People magazine. It’s the 46-year-old star’s second time winning the coveted title. He also won in 2003.
