Former Grey’s Anatomy star T.R. Knight has reportedly ended his relationship with his boyfriend of two years, just a week after revealing his plans to adopt a child.

The actor hinted his relationship with 20-year-old Mark Cornelsen was getting serious after admitting last week his former castmates, new moms Ellen Pompeo and Katherine Heigl, had inspired him to start a family of his own.

He told Ellen Degeneres, “I want a baby. I don’t know if it’s going to end up working out, but that would be something I would like…I’ve wanted (kids) for a while, so (she) reinforces it.”

However, the 36-year-old star has now asked his partner to move out of the Los Angeles apartment they shared, according to In Touch Weekly.

A source says, “It just came to a natural end, no hard feelings. They still care about each other very much.”
